nown the world over for its hot springs and mountain heritage, the town of Banff - twenty minutes drive west of Canmore on Highway one - is also home to the famous Banff Springs Hotel - a photographers dream location. Dream location also for brides and grooms, the hotel offers stately Scottish baronial architecture and all the atmosphere of a castle in the mountains.
The many other hotels in the area, large and small provide a wide range of experience for any sort of wedding, and fabulous outdoor locations suitable for any size of wedding surround the townsite. Banff’s nightlife, of course, is as famous as it’s wildlife.
Photographing in the Banff environs often has us criss-crossing the valley from Tunnel Mountain to Vermillion Lakes. At every turn another vista opens possibilities for images that allow me to express my passion for the landscape and to record the excitement of your Rocky Mountain wedding.
